Next Monday, 3/21, is World Down Syndrome Day. We're inviting everyone to wear crazy socks to celebrate!
This night at Salem Middle School will be a celebration of the Salem Community Schools’ K-12 Arts Programs. Activities will include performances by the 6th, 7th, 8th and HS Bands, the 6th, 7th, 8th, and HS Choirs, Elementary music classes, and Visual Arts exhibits featuring K-12 art students and the Class of 2022 Senior Art Showcases. The bands will perform in the band room in a classroom concert type setting. Schedule of band performances is as follows:
6th Grade- 7:05-7:20
7th Grade- 7:25-7:40
8th Grade- 7:45-8:00
HS Band- 8:05-8:20

With the report of inclement weather, we want to remind our community that Bradie Shrum Elementary opens the Safe Room at the north end of the building for ALL community members to stay safe if needed. The space is available to anyone needing shelter prior to or after a storm, and is manned by emergency certified personnel (and facilities rockstar, Matt Gorman). Please stay safe this evening!

Congrats to the Robotics Team for winning the Core Value Award this weekend! The team competed in the final part of competition on Saturday with judge interviews. The award is given for teams that display extraordinary enthusiasm and spirit, evidence of accomplishing more together than as individuals, and showing teammates and other teams respect at all times.
