Salem High School's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party for Saturday is going to be cancelled due to lack of participation. Sign up forms and money will be returned to those that sent in their forms to Bradie Shrum Elementary. A google form will be sent out to see if there is any interest in the Santa Breakfast during December.
In keeping with an October theme, students in Mrs. McKinley's class are learning about bats this week. The even did an echolocation experiment.

Picture Packages are coming home today. Be sure to check your child's backpack! If you haven't ordered, it's not too late. We're sending home card slips printed with your child's picture and order code, so you can still order online.
Retake day at BSE will be Tuesday, Nov. 12. If you would like your child to have retakes make sure they bring their current picture package(s) back with them on retake day. Any student who has not had a school picture will have one taken that day, too.
Bradie Shrum Elementary School will celebrate Red Ribbon Week October 28th - November 1st. Mark your calendars now for a week of fun!
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Bradie Shrum Elementary School staff members are wearing Pink shirts each Friday of the month. We partnered with Zink Signs and had a donation made to the Gilda House of Kentuckiana from the sale of our shirts!
