Mrs. McKinley's class is kicking off their penguin unit! Today she showed the class photos taken by her Uncle Tom Myers, a Salem grad who takes pictures for National Geographic magazine. The students LOVED the photos!
2-Hour Delay:
Schools open two hours later than normal. Buses run on a delay, and students report in person.
Asynchronous Learning Day:
School buildings are closed, and students complete assignments independently at home. Teachers will post work on Google Classroom by 9:00 AM.
Synchronous Learning Day:
School buildings are closed, but students follow a live online schedule with their teachers. Attendance is taken through virtual sessions.

Picture Retake Day is Tuesday, Nov 18!
If you're satisfied with your child's picture, no further action is required.
If you purchased and were unhappy with your Picture Package, please send your Picture Package to school with your student on Retake Day. Your Retake Picture Package will be produced and shipped to the school four weeks after Retake Day. Please note, if your child is photographed on the original and Retake Picture Days, the Retake picture will replace the original picture in certain products, like the yearbook.
Students who were absent for Picture Day should come to school prepared to have their picture taken. If you have not pre-ordered, please use the Retake Order Code 0089MSF to place your order at https://inter-state.com/Order. To see your Order History, check your Inter-State Account.

Every year, our students get the chance to experience the joy of giving by shopping for gifts for their loved ones — and all items have been handmade by our talented 5th graders and STEAM classrooms! 🧑🎨🎅
We’re looking for some holiday helpers 🧝♀️🧝♂️ to make the magic happen! Volunteers will shop alongside our littlest students, helping them pick out that perfect surprise for family and friends. 💕
