Bradie Shrum is excited to announce our new dismissal app, PickUp Patrol! PickUp Patrol is an online platform that manages dismissal time more efficiently and safely. Parents conveniently submit plan changes for their children using the free app. The school efficiently tracks absence, early dismissals and end-of-day plans. The system also helps speed up dismissal time and adds a layer of security for your children.
Please check your child's folder this afternoon for more information, and watch for your parent/guardian account set-up email on Friday evening!

Mrs. Rowe's fifth-grade class has been studying argumentative text. During a discussion on the future of technology, Mr. Donald Stinnette shared the technology included in his new Tesla. The students enjoyed getting to check out the car while learning about its capabilities.

If you think music class doesn't involve movement, then you are wrong! Third grade students in Mrs. Gorman's classes were on their feet today after learning about crescendo, fortissimo, pianissimo and more! They were getting low for the quieter sounds and up and stretching their arms wide as the music got louder. Mrs. Gorman makes music fun at BSE!

All Bradie Shrum Elementary students will have their photo taken.

Salem Families, The power at the schools has been back on since 7:45am and our buses are running. They may be a bit slower than normal due to some road conditions.

Good Morning Salem Families. We will be on a 2 hour delay this morning, Monday, Aug. 7 due to hazardous road conditions and the ongoing power outages caused by overnight storms. Our morning Prosser bus will not run.

Transportation Changes:
If you need to change transportation for your child, please send a note to school.
If you do not send a note, you must call the BSE Office before 2:00 p.m. to make that change. Our office staff will notify the classroom teacher of the change. Please do not email or use an app to communicate that change with the classroom teacher, as they may not see the change during the school day.

The nurse will be available during the welcome nights Tuesday and Wednesday.

Come work with students at Bradie Shrum Elementary School!
